YouTube is one of the most popular website on the World Wide Web to date. With millions of hits a day and with over thousands of new videos being uploaded daily, the future only proves that it will get more and more popular. Try each one to find the most effective proxy server that you can use. Take note though that not each one will work for you and sometimes, it will not work at all. This is because each firewall and filters have different set-ups and are configured differently. If the firewall has also blocked all proxy servers then this will not work for you.

Another way of unblocking YouTube is by typing in its I.P. address instead of the website’s URL. You must first find the I.P. address of the website you want to be unblocked, in this case YouTube. For YouTube, the I.P. address is 208.65.153.253 and you can type this on the address box and it would direct you to YouTube. To some, this technique works because the firewall only blocks the “names” of the websites and does not recognize the I.P. addresses of the blocked sites. In order to find out the different I.P. address of different sites, you can search for different tools on the internet by typing in “ip address for websites” on your favorite search engine and look for an I.P. address tool that will help you find the URL of the different websites.

One other way you could try is by using a redirecting URL. Sites such as tinyurl offer this type of service. It converts the URL into a smaller and unique URL that you can use to connect to the website. It works for some but may not work for others. But still, it wouldn’t hurt to try it out as well. Perhaps there are many other different ways of unblocking YouTube and other blocked websites and that is where a little bit of research would prove beneficial.
